About Me

My name is Jelena and my passion is sewing. For more than 20 years, sewing and designing clothes have been deeply woven into my everyday life. That was, it is now and it will be my escape from reality. It is my expression translated into pieces of clothing that are inspired by the people who surround me, events, music, love, life and myself.
Friends and family suggested that I turn my hobby into a business, but it didn’t make much sense to me. I didn’t like the idea of ​​turning my relaxation time into something called mass production, which is, you’ll agree, very widespread today.

Today, handmade things are a little underrated, undervalued and often forgotten. I always tried to support people with idea of creating their own work with paper, jewelry, clothes, furniture, etc.

I know that feeling when you create something with your own hands and give it value, that exhilaration, that energy…eventually, you take a step back and say: Damm, I made it by myself.

Anyhow, my friends and family have led me to another idea. The idea is that by selling my creations, I will be able to help, together with you, some people who desperately need help. To begin with, I chose three great girls from Novi Sad, Serbia, my beloved city, in which I spent many years of my life. The girls cook and procure food for dozens of families who unfortunately do not have enough resources to feed their families. The group is very active, and the three of them are great, hard-working, self-sacrificing, so I decided to help them in collecting funds for their actions. Another institution I want to help is the children of Svratište in Belgrade, which aims to improve the quality of life of children who live or work on the streets. The users of the Svratište service are children between the ages of 5 and 15 who, due to their lifestyle, are exposed to multiple risks.

I hope that you will support this idea and that you will help me achieve it, and that together with me, you will be one more in a row that will help people who really need help today.
